This is inspired by the wonderful books by Mercedes Lackes. He is Nightfall k'Sheyna, a Tayledras from the Pelagir forest. The Tayledras cleanse the land where they live of twisted magic. They are called "Hawkbrothers" because of their ability to bond birds and communicate with them.
