	A dragon serpent, done with soft pastels. This one was made for a hobby artist's exhibition in my hometown.

29 Jun 2004	Uta ´Freawyn´ Hesse	Loading... What spectaculair composition, and the dragon is just great!! I could imagine him quite well as one of the gryphon and phoenix dragons. But perhaps it is no dragon, but a gargoyle? He has the shape of the dragon, but with those colours and the fact that he seems to be curling around the sun he could also have phoenix blood... well I don't know if its meant as the sun or just as an ornament, but this is the way one could see it, I think. I love this pic. would look great framed at a wall!! Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: " Thanks again! Oh, this one IS framed and decorates our bedroom wall, next to the phoenix. Doing this one was great fun, although I hate all the pastel dust on the floor. I agree with the phoenix blood, yes, maybe he is a gargoyle. Never thought about that!"
