Hello!  My name is Kat.  I am a 23 years old and currently living in the state of Delaware with my husband, Ian, our 7 month old son, and our two cats.  After three long years of dreaming and hoping that one day I would have enough time and money to attend college, I am finally enrolled in the Art Institute for Media Arts and Animation.  Hopefully, this will also mean I'll have more artwork to put up here and won't have to recycle old art.  :)

Most of my art revolves around a series of stories that my husband and I are writing.  The stories will eventually be up on our website (www.katssketchbook.com) in comic form, but they are still in development at this moment.  

I'm going to start replacing a lot of these as I finish new pictures to submit.  A lot of these are very, very old.

Interests
Reading, writing stories, drawing, playing the guitar, mythology, games, animation, etc.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa, Twelve Kingdoms, Chobits, Ah! My Goddess, Pan's Labyrinth, The Labyrinth, and so on. Big fan of Studio Ghibli. :)
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
Redwall, The Dark Is Rising Sequence, The Secret Texts Trilogy, Mists of Avalon, The Last Unicorn, Tamsin, and various other books that have slipped my mind at the moment.
Favorite Music
My taste in music spans over several different genres, though I can't say I like much rap or country. I especially love Celtic music, a lot of hard rock, and heavy metal. My favorite bands depend heavily on the day and my mood.

MMkay, overall your pictures are all really good! My favorite of the two, was the woman with the fairies and the picture of Diedre(spelling?) in the cloak.. Wow is all i can really say. keep up the great work!
