| 9 Feb 2007 | Tam´ra Brekke Perry | Great work! So far in all my wanderings *impatiently waits for her own gallery to be up and running* your gallery is on my top three. Someday, I would like to have a list of all the artists here whose work I recomend up on my bio page. If you've no objections, I would like to list your gallery among my favorites. Kylee Nel replies: "Hi there, sorry for the long wait on my reply, I don't check my elfwood account as often as I should. I am honoured that you consider my gallery as one of your top three, and have no objections to you linking to me on your bio. The gesture is greatly appreciated. Thank you!" | |

| 7 May 2008 | Alexandre Appel | Hi there! I’m a fellow Elfwood artist.. though my gallery hasn’t been updated in ... years. Literally. Your work is very impressive. Color, composition, detail. VERY nice! I hope you enjoy your tablet as much as i enjoyed mine. I am not a pro, but if you want some basic tips, maybe i can help you. Personally i use the tablet creating "shadows" in B&W using a different scale of gray for each one, then i use a top "overlay" or "color" layer wich gives color to the whole thing.
Unfortunately, the works i have here are WAY before i got myself a tablet... i have to post some of the new ones.
Well, feel free to ask anything you’d like.
And keep up the good work ! | |
