Dragon’s tooth and dragon’s bone

Do not travel in the darkness alone

Dragon’s blood and dragon’s breath

If you do you’ll be courting death

Dragon’s scales and dragon’s claws

Watch out for those mighty jaws

Dragon’s eyes and dragon’s flame

It’s your soul it’ll come to claim

Dragon’s mirth and dragon’s will

Your lifeblood it wants to spill

Dragon’s cave and dragon’s tail

Will come at you like a mighty gale

Dragon’s snout and dragon’s ears

You won’t have to time to shed your tears

Dragon’s lair and dragon’s gold

Why didn’t you listen to what you were told?

Dragon’s heart and dragon’s womb

You’re just in time to seal your doom

You did a fantastic job on this poem. And I dare say the adventurer has been aptly warned to stay clear of dragons.
I really enjoyed the piece.

Now you should write one for the dragequat. I hear those are really horrible creatures.:>

:-) Emma-Jane C. Smith replies: "YAY! Thank you! ^_^ ...tee hee hee I can just imagine the stupid adventurer getting goggled up! 2Ohhh! I will write a poem about those fearsome dragequats!! 2 What a perfectly wonderful idea! tee hee hee!"

Yay! Dragon poem! I love it, the ending is scarey... I've certainly been put off going into a dragon's cave (yeah, alright, I'd never be brave enough anyway!)

Just one bit didn't seem to me to scan quite right, but it's a personal opinion only:

'Dragon’s cave and dragon’s tail
Will come at you like a mighty gale' - you could just change the last line to 'will come at you, a mighty gale', just so it fitted better, maybe?

Anyway, great poem! 1

:-) Emma-Jane C. Smith replies: "Hmmm.... I suppose it does need that comma! Thanks for that! Glad you liked it! .. and I've never been very brave either! 2"

:-) Emma-Jane C. Smith replies: "YAY! I'm happy that you liked it! ^_^ Dragons are dangerous pets!"
