This was the first portrait I've done of two characters.

Sort of curious as to how the masses will react to a portrait of such a diverse and unlikely couple. The Amazing thing about fantasy and art in general is that anything can happen, and one is only limited by their imagination. I thought it would be interesting to cross that invisible line of “Race”or in this case species and create something truly unique and interesting.

very nice but....what’s with the hair? that’s like an Edward/Bella kind of romance, a forbidden love. you wouldn’t believe how much something like that catches me.... that and theives 12

I agree completely with above posters (though I would refrain from Twilight comments - gah!). This picture is extremely well done, and more than deserving of mod pick.
Interesting note, though: In Mongolian mythology (real obscure, I know, but bear with me), the Mongolian people were thought to be the descendents of a blue wolf who married a fallow doe and settled near the Onan river. Kind of gives this picture even more depth, don’t you think? 1
