My first ever contribution to a Bifrost Project. Yay! Well, the project was that we were supposed to do a kind of self-portrait, except as superheros. Unique superheros. Now, it's hard to come up with a unique superhero these days. Everything seems to be done already!

So, this is what I came up with.... My superhero alias is... Clockwork.

I've seen the future. I know what is to come. It's part of my new Gifts. I am a time-weilder. Not only can I travel as I wish througout the ages, I can slow or speed up time around a given point or person. All thanks to my shiny, new, clockwork arm.
I've seen the future, and I don't like it. It's dark, dreary and wretched. Well, there's only one way to stop that future from happening, and that's to destroy the world! So, thus I plan to do. See if I can be stopped!

That is unreal...really!! The face is hardest part but u pulled it off so well... my chicks always end up looking like men, and i really hate that, but i love every detail of that picture... congratulations.

:-) Kathrine Keathley replies: "Heh. I never could get the knack for drawing men. They always look androgenous. Thank you very much for the compliments!"

Hmm, interesting...nifty arm! *does first comment dance*

:-) Kathrine Keathley replies: "Thank you!"

Hey! Great idea for a super-villan! Looks like you not only got a clockwork arm...but you got your brains scrambled as well. *grins* Nothing like trying to save the world, by destroying it...eh?

I like your pose and character design...as well as the nice back story. This is a great project piece and I'm happy to have it for the collection. Welcome to the League of Bifrost Heroes & Villans! *smiles*

:-) Kathrine Keathley replies: "*Bows* Thanks, once more, for your welcome! Scambled brains are my favorite kind! ^.^ Thanks for your wonderful comment."

Very nice! Hmmm...any thought to adding color to her? In any case...my Bifrost project entry is still half done. Maybe you could slow down time a bit so I can be sure to get my project in on time. LOL! I love that arm and her face is beautiful.

:-) Kathrine Keathley replies: "Hehe. I'll give it a shot. As for color, yes. I've thought, and that's about it. I'm honestly terrified of coloring the arm. It was hard enough for me to draw. Thanks for your compliments."

Wow this piece is very cool... the detail in the arm is awesome, and theres a great sense of movement in the dress. The background is fantastic as well.

:-) Kathrine Keathley replies: "Thank you! I'm really glad you like it."

Wow this is beautiful! That arm is just awesome... and I love the "clock" background! Time powers are like uber-powerful... I doubt anyone could stop Clockwork! Anyway, great work!

:-) Kathrine Keathley replies: "^.^ Thanks a lot! That arm took forever, and I'm still not satisfied. Heh. Anyhoo, thanks for your support! At this rate, the world will be over and done with in no time! ^.^"

Hey again, just wanted to ask you if I could use Clockwork in my story? It's part 2 of the Bifrost League of Heroes project. I'm actually planning on making Clockwork a hero, but then in the course of the story she (as you say in your description of your picture) sees the far future and decides the only way to stop it is to destroy the world... would that be ok? =P

:-) Kathrine Keathley replies: "That would be quite awesome! *Is flattered*"

The detail in this drawing is incredible! You are so talented!

Isn’t destroying the world kinda defeating the point of saving it? 0.0
