Artemis - the forest Goddess- moongoddess-the goddess of the wilderness, virginity, the hunt and wild animals--- and at times goddess of vengence and death. From greek mythology. Orion, a giant and a great hunter, there are several legends which tell of his death, one involving Artemis. It is said that he tried to rape the virgin goddess, so killed him with her bow and arrows. Orion became a constellation in the night sky.

20 Jan 2004	Julia Hayn	Loading... Hey, this picture looks like a horror trash movie poster from the 50ies or 60ies. These posters were often drawn in a similar style, and of course this green background reminds me of that. Yes, it wasn´t your attention to make it look like that, but it just came to my mind... I love these old trash movies and I also like this picture very much. Great work!
15 Feb 2004	C. Artemis Morrow	Loading... This is amazing! Their eyes are so lovely, and I really like the bright green background. It is vaguely reminiscent of a B-movie poster, but it's also just a great picture. Keep up the fabulous work!

2 Apr 2006	Orion 777@ori...uk>	Loading... As an artist I like your style but your myth is a myth. There was as much chance of rape with Orion and Artemis as there was with Adam and Eve. She wronged Orion not the other way round. Get your facts right please. bb Orion.
