| 3 Feb 2006 | The Dirty Old Bearded Crippled Man | Loading...I love these! Have they been published in any magazines or books yet? If not, why not? They're very good. I'll bet your father is very proud of you. Jennifer 'laieanna' Brown replies: "Thank you! Nothing has been published...haven't even made the attempt, but your welcome to try for me. =P I guess I just don't take enough time out of the day to try publishing. Besides, there are a lot of fantastic writers on this site that would do better. Aren't father's proud of whatever their children do? I'm just glad to display what I have for him to read and enjoy. Thank you. I really appreciate it." | |

I've always known you were a good writer, keep it up. Jennifer 'laieanna' Brown replies: "Thanks. I'm just glad to finally find a way to come out of my shell and let my family and friends read what I have stuck in my head...and the great strangers out there. Never wrote a book before...that might be a long way off. But ideas are always flowing. Glad you stopped by. Keep coming...I like having you here. Thanks!"

You can get many constructive crits by visiting other writers. Leave helpful comments on their work and most of them will return the visit. Good cess and good writing. Jennifer 'laieanna' Brown replies: "Dangit! I'm blushing again. I am pretty darn proud to have a Mod's Choice...especially on my first ticket. I think I like it here...I think I'll sit and stay for a spell. =P I've been an Elfwood fan for awhile now and just thrilled to be part of the community....just don't want to get jumped in a dark grove somewhere and beat up. J/K *giggle* From what I've received and what I've seen elsewhere, I know this is a great place. Thanks for your comment. It's really appreciated."
| 23 Feb 2006 | Steven D Smith | Loading...Just finished reading your paper dolls and live at six stories Both were very good. The paper dolls one reminded me of the twilight zone. It was really good i wasn't sure till the end if she was going crazy or if the dolls were real.Your live at six was great you should do some of the other fairy tales as well. I agree with a previous commenter you really should try to have some of this published. Jennifer 'laieanna' Brown replies: "Oh wow! I'm so stunned. Thank you so much. It's funny, but I was just thinking that the next time I edit my page I would take Paperdolls down. I'm a bit ashamed of that one. Thank you for the lovely compliments. I'm a definite fan of twilight zone and always loved stories with irony in them. I'm really happy you enjoyed it. I may consider doing more fairy tales like Live at Six, but I'm afraid the fun will wear off for people. And thank you for the confidence in my writing to think I could get published. You sure you're not a family member?! *giggle* Thank you thank you...I am so happy with your words...I'm grinning from ear to ear. And I look forward to reading your works. Thanks again!" | |

| 1 Feb 2007 | Heidi Hecht | Loading...You've got some good stuff here. No need to be embarrassed, especially when you got a Mod's Choice. Besides, everybody needs a little silly sometimes. I especially like "Live at Six," even fantasy worlds need a news service. | |
