The man’s face looks very good. And the dragon only looks friendly because his expression is so revering. Two notes, and don’t be alarmed by all the text here. Constructive criticism on an image takes more explaining than praise for some reason. The hand holding the sword looks a bit awkward. I think the apparent angle of the upper arm is too low. An easy fix. Just show a little more of the upper arm and angle it better towards where his shoulder should be. Also, the awkward feel is enhanced by the odd angle of the sword. It’s a brave choice of perspective but with so little of it showing, and with the layout in mind, I would rather have seen a more simple side-view of the arm, stretched out in front of him, holding the sword. There’s a lot of space on the right bottom side for it and I think it would’ve given this picture some extra balance too. | |
