Nice to see another original Tolkien illustrator around. I like your pictures of Galadriel, they'll be right at home here. As a general comment on your pictures - you can work into them a bit more and I would encourage you to experiment with using colour. Drawing from life can also help to reinforce a sence of shading and proportion. I'd love to see more of your work.

The classical men ; women problem , eh. I have that problem and a lot of others , too. But when you draw men , try to make rougher lines , a womens line is more fine and round. If you read the FARP article about diferences between the man and women , you probably saw the notice about eyebrows. But you shouldn't follow this as directly as you thaught you should do. In the article it is also alot that is not mentioned : forexample the neck. A womens neck is a wee bit longer and less broader , but a man has a throat-head (I can't remember the word for this in english). And his neck is biger harder. Try to find photos of mens and womens and find the differences. But you might as well 'cheat' as well. Don't make eyebrows , that's important (a man has eyebrows , but eyebrows is hard to put on a man). Broad shoulders with less broader hips.
