I love how the hair and dresses on your characters just sort of "flow"...and the colours are very soft and natural. You are an excellent shader ^__^

1 Abigael Casey replies: "Danke! I think one of the best things about colouring pencils is the shading potential! They are so versatile and cheap and really easy to use!
And yes, that's a hobbit hole, but not just any hobbit hole, that is the entrance to Bag End, Bilbo's hole. I'm the one in the back in the denim skirt and caramel jumper, and the other girl, in the jeans and polo,is my best friend and fellow artist Missy (Rebecca 'Mischa' Brown). It was taken Dec last year (2003)on our trip to NZ's North Island.

Well, he's one of my brothers friends, they were in the same group of friends at school, plus I know him from FCIP, and drama and.....oh yeah, we both go to UQ. And I talk to him all the time on MSN. It was weird when I found your site, coz I was like, OMG I wonder if this amazing artist is nay relation to James...hehehe! he never told me that you were an artist. Geez, creative talents run in the family, James is a fantastic muscician, you're a fantastic artist...hehehe! I started colouring your picture, but then I started uni, but now I have photoshop 7 and a graphics tablet, so I shall hopefully colour it soon! I shall let you know when it is finished! I truly enjoy seeing the color variations of designs that you have here. I also have a soft spot for works in series and the elementals are wonderful.

Thanks for being so understanding, second year uni is even worse than first year, but the good news is I have holidays coming up ( a month of glorious holidays!) so I will definately get it done then. I did start doing the hair, just playing around with my new tablet! I'm glad you like my pictures 1 It's great to hear. But if you check out my deviant art site (http://last-chael.deviantart.com/) I will be updating it more often, coz it doesn't have mods and it doesn't have particular theme so I can put all my stuff up there. I don't have much up there yet, but I will be putting more up soon, I'd love you to check it out! Hope to hear from you soon! 1"
