you mean heart of the boarder (lodger) or horder (someone who never throws things away). Could be either really seeing as they both tend to be pretty messy people! I can see socks, and toilets rolls and carpets!

Wow, very stunning pic!!! Love it! And I guess, without being too abstract, that it is a used heart, with coronary arteries as Arms + fingers, and lots of lung vessel surrounding it. Brilliant! Would make a good illustration for a medical text book 2 Did you use any anatomical source for the pic?
Wish you all the creative best 2
D.

It would have to be (to me anyway) a heart that's been thrown away to mix with the trash.. Hence all the odd assortment of objects thrown it.. Love it!

As to the meaning of this... There are sooo many ways of interpreting it....

I think it means "the middle of the edge". I could be wrong, but it kind of makes sense to me. In the big artery/vein on the right pointing up, there are puzzle pieces and bricks and stones etc, all of which either create or rely on borders/edges. These building blocks form the heart. I think that what the picture is supposed to represent is the very middle of the dividing line between all things - the heart has always been a metaphor for love, courage, compassion etc, while actually being just another muscle; in this way, the heart kind of acts as a metaphorical bridge between the physical body and it's emotional side. In the picture, it's like you've taken this role of the heart and amplified it into a universal bridge between all opposing sides - each pzzle piece in the picture, each brick in the wall. The heart represents the center of the division where there is no division at all...

But anyway, it is a really excellent picture, and I'm having an excellent time flicking through your gallery. You have an awesome talent. I hope to some day be half as good as you.

It's amazing how you made the veins look like limbs where do you get your inspiration?!?
