OK, I notice some veery interesting thoughts on Mr A`s incredible talent to make people wanna find him, tie him up and tell him their responses to his flaming. Yep. Esp Sanguine 800 - wow, that`s a very interesting speech - kinda sounds like a psycologist (these people... I bow to) .
My method of considering a picture is: first watch, then read the author`s description, the read most recent comments, then make one yourself. So, BEFORE reading all o` the commenters` points, I thought:"wow, this is new, this I haven`t seen, this is a very nice idea, and he doesn`t look evil (to me, no matter the usual idea), mor elike very smart and mysterious, wow, I wish I had the patience to do works like this one". Now I`m still thinking it, but I cannot help reflecting over human nature too. So now that creature seems to me like a metaphore of the human mind and soul - weird and not easy to run without the manual, which is lying somewhere on the deeeeeep bottom of the sea of the subconsciousness where only a few can find it...

Since no one seems to know:
a muppet is a puppet; i really can't explain. if you've ever seen big bird, kirmit, ernie, bert, or snuffy, those are muppets.
i do agree that the top dragon looks a bit like one, but in an eerie sense that makes me not want to watch sesame street... ever again.
the picture is beautiful. congrats.
and as for my piece on mr awesome:
i say that anyone, racist or not, is entitled to his opinion. the fact that he doesnt like blacks or asians is mr's choice, but the way he said it was terribly rude.

Did anyone actually say they didn't know what a Muppet was?
Anyway, this is a really great work, truly deserving of Mod's Choice. I love how tall the guy is/appears to be, and the stringy nature of the dragons' fur/hair/...strings ^^. Ah... Animal... crazy little Muppet.

In short, I love it.

it seems to me that i just missed a big confrontation which after reading all the comments i'm sorry that i missed out on what all the fuss was about8
anyways interesting pic, however i'd have to disagree on the fact that the top "dragon" doesn't look like any of the muppets i've seen, but rather it looks like the white dragon from the movie "The Never Ending Story"
if you've seen the movie you'd probably know what im talking about and if you don't....rent the movie!!!

Wow! The details on the dragons are amazing, the hair is so well done!

I envy both your skill and patience, my friend. Now you mention it the top dragon reminds me slightly of on of the muppets but never the less this artwork really is amazing. The detail of the hair/fur of the dragons is what I like the most, it gives it it's own original feel and look that I really like. Great Job.

If anyone remembers the original Muppets - on Ed Sullivan’s show - long before Sesame Street - they were far from benign. They loved to gobble up smaller innocent creatures. This does remind me of the original Muppets as feathery ghosts. Not sure, but suppose Muppet is a sort of combination of Marrionette & Puppet - "No strings attached". They mostly seem like very unique hand puppets, or in some ways similar to the Oriental puppets that are moved by men.
