I love the depiction of strong powerful women characters. You seem to have a fondness for heroines, especially fighter class heroines. Will have to return when time permits. TTFN Julia.

Ok I was just at your ruins pic the other day and when I came back here I think I am on to something. You have a nack for sketching amazing solo figures with exquisite detail and then you get into this story telling mode where you place them into settings or pair them up with others and the results are these entirely new, original works that tell new stories all on their own. This appears to be your trade mark whether you meant it that way or no. The other trend I have noted is the colorized trend. Taking your original b&w sketches and digitally colorizing them - awesomely kwel. At any rate as time permits I need to come back again... study more of your works. Great Job Laura.

Ok I haven’t commented in some time (depsite my frequent visits) because I am not certain what I would say. I hope all is well with you and your daughter. I hope your health has not kept you from your art and I hope life has not gotten in the way of someone who is clearly a very creative and skilled emerging artist of tremendous potential. I have said many times that I think you should create and sell limited prints of some of your pieces. If your husband has dubbed me your biggest fan then from the "president of your fan club" please take this in the spirit to which it is intended.... please produce more. Miss you Laura, Suzzanne.

I’ve noticed you have a real gift for horses. Between your unicorns and background horese you have a genuine eye for horse flesh. I would love to see your treatment of some specific horses. Your "golden one" I suspect is based upon an arabian. Am I correct? Do you have other pieces featuring horses in your repetoire? First time visitor but extremely impressed by your horse work.

What a stunning collection of detailed work. You have amassed a body of work that would rival any artist. You have kept true to your own style and have not sought to simply copy or computerize your work to the point of achieving a sense of sameness with others. Came back from a "ladies retreat" to see that you have posted something new. Hurray you are still out there. Great job with the compliation. Looking forward to new original pieces. hint hint....aren’t I awful.

The ambush brought me here today but what a set of art you have created. Didn’t expect to find this many pieces. You must have one of the largests pencil sketch portfolios on Elfwood. I must say Laura this is an impressive collection. You have on display a variety of skill sets here. I am eager to see how your skills have matured over the year and await an original 09 piece to appear in your virtual gallery. The size and breadth of your portfolio is remarkable and you are very deserved of the following and commmentary you have amassed here. Have you considered taking on more sinister subjects? Rare is the villian in your work. Just a thought....again I offer opinion as suggestion, food for thought only, not destructive criticism.
