At school we read Dante Alighieri's 'Purgatorio'. People, there are so many angels in that book!! I especially liked the figure of the two angels, green-winged and green-dressed, that defend the little dale of the negligent princes. Here, the two angels are waiting for the evil snake that they will dispel from the valley. The two little figures in the back are Dante (in red) and his precious guide, Virgil. Maybe I could make a pic of them, once...

Most people who do angels stick with blue or white, well, time for some green! Yeah! ^_^ Can't say I've ever read that book, but still, I like the angels. In the hand of the brown-haired angel, it looks like the hilt to a flaming sword. I like, I like. =) Plus, the flowery, twisting border is great. Very good. ^^;;

2 Aug 2006	Ragweed	Loading... Lovely painting, I adore the angel in the foreground and the faded appearence of Virgil and Dante in the background. However, I do believe that the wings of the angel in the back are slightly mis-shapen. They appear to be bulky and somewhat lumpy. Well done irregardless, I love the slight 'nouveau' style. Congrats!
