SciFi and Fantasy Art Lights in the Forest by Laura Watson

"I wait patiently as the one I was appointed to guard gazes at the soft luminesence of the gently glowing yellow snails. It feels like the forest is growing around us."
-this was painted using gouache, on a watercolour board as Im tired of paper waving up due to the weight of the paint. I really enjoyed painting this. You may see these two again as I have a vague idea for a story based around the sky-child and her guardian.
