SciFi and Fantasy Art Thessaly/Larissa and other names by Laura Watson

I prefer it when she's called Thessaly as this is the race she belongs to. She is one of my favourite characters in the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman, although for some reason I found her really hard to draw-so this is my best attempt so far. I really respect her approach to life and magic, but she can be a bit too mean and detached from human emotions sometimes. She reminds me in some ways of Granny Weatherwax from T.Pratchetts discworld, i think they both practise witchcraft in the same way, and are both witches I admire for their approach to life and the difficulties it brings. If i live to her age i hope i will be like her :) Here a small demon/imp thing got more than he expected when he snook into the 'young' lady's house.
