SciFi and Fantasy Art My First Dragon :) by Laura J. Judd


	Well, after visiting Troy's site a few nights ago, I decided it was about time for me to paint a dragon. So.... this one takes after one of my ceramic pieces (no longer pictured) and well, I am actually a bit proud of it. I have yet to figure out a background but I'm in no rush. My hand is ready to fall off at this point anyway. (Scales, scales and more scales) grin Enjoy!

12 Jun 2001	Xander	Loading... well i love the body desighn and i commend your skill with paint rember dragons with scales are usualy not too reflective, toneing down the shading a tiny bit might solve that, and as to the person speaking about the wings an all, most dragon flight was not accmpished under power of tthe wings, more of gassses in there bellies that's why most are large or fat. verry often the wings were just for altitue and stabilization. mih god I have too much spare tiem to know this!!

I never really had a great love for dragon art but trust me I am totally in love with this painting. Its just magnificient (especially considering it is your first dragon which is very unbelievable hehe)!
15 Jan 2002	Geographyhorse(William) <ge	Loading... I love the shiny-ness(figure that) in this. I know, I know, Dragons aren't 'sposed to be shiny, but maybe it's amphibious(spell check?). I've seen salamanders shine like that, maybe it's a new breed of dragon. Higher up on the evolutionary scale!?
