Nekeas are hampster-sized pets, they go through metamorphosis like a moth or butterfly, growth stages are egg -> grubling -> coccoon -> winged adult. Genders are differenciated by antennae and the position the wings are held in at rest. Males are moth-like, with feathery antennae and horizontal wings-at-rest position. Females are butterfly-like with more normal looking antennae and vertical wings-at-rest position. What gender is this adult then? (I'll have to smack you if you get it wrong... just kidding) Ain't the grubling cute? ::Update:: Uploaded color version 03/25/01
