I'm trying to develope the ability to have expressions on my little anime pictures. This boy is supposed to be scared, hence the name.

Okay, this is totally my opinion. Don't get mad at me for saying this because many people disagree. I think that anime/japanese animation is for artists that are too lazy to try realism. Sure, anime comes out with a good effect, but in MY opinion, realism looks much better. An artist strives to become what he/she wants to become, and that artist's goal is usually to become the best he/she can possibly be. To "slack off" because realism is too hard is like destroying your dreams, see what i'm saying. I'm not trying to say that you are a lazy slacker, I'm just stating that you have potential which could be put to better use.

this is to Dante should he ever return, and since he's deleting these comments from his gallery. don't post something about what you think of anime in someone's gallery. you're here to comment on the art. so what if she's drawing anime? it'll help develope her own style years to come. she'll find her niche, but she doesn't need people like you telling her that it's "slacking off" have you ever tried drawing anime/manga? do you know how hard it is to do it right, to make it come out right? she's done a very good job, and i think her potential shows with what she's drawing now. not alot of people can draw this way and make it come out right.
