commission for my friend Sean, a x-mas present for a friend of his, that I took on to raise money for a local charity. I knew nothing about this character when I took on this piece, but the girl is, apparently, a total fan-girl, so I did some research. Got to do a lot of design, since he's not actually set in stone. it was incredibly fun to do, though a bit stressfull. new heights of detail for me, and the best metal i've ever done for sure! about 13 to color it though. Ouch! i really, Really need a graphics tablet!

done with mech. pencil, Micron pen, prismacolored pencils, and photoshop (love the smudge tool!!)

*Waves the flag of the Edgar Fangirl* Go shiny-wonderful-inventor-playboy-kings! I love this, especially the colors and his CHAINSAW! Yesss! Awesome work. Congratulations. I want his cape >D

12 Elizabeth 'Laureanna' Green replies: "lol. I'd like that cape too! and the boots, but unfortunately he's so vain, he simply refuses to share! Imagine! ;-) i must admit, that after all the work I put into it, he cooperated so well, I close to being a fan-girl myself!"

A royal saw...Will this replace the royal sword? lol..anyway, nice coloring, love the cape. Good job!*first comment dance*

:-) Elizabeth 'Laureanna' Green replies: "'the royal chainsaw became something of a fad around the mid 34th century, beloved for its high efficiency in slaying undesirables. The fad never really caught on however, after a seriees of unfortunate accidents involving superfluous clothing getting caught in the blade.'lol. glad you like it! "

Oh that's beautiful.

I'm not sure if I would have associated a chain saw and the word "beautiful" before having played Final Fantasy VI and falling in love with Edgar, but hey.

I love his pose, and the vibrant, royal colors (they suit him well) and the saw is amazing in its detail. Thanks so much for making such an awesome drawing of our beloved King of Figaro.
