| This is a poem about a moon goddess enjoying the night air |
|
Evening Star
She lifts up her star garlanded head towards the west
As the night falls upon the grassy meadows
The silver moon shines its immaculate rays
Upon her white face and hair of glistening jet
Her blue eyes sparkle
With the light of the stars in the sky
She breathes in the crisp air
As she begins to draw down the moon
The crickets chirp, the nightingale croons,
And the wolves sing
Welcome
