Lavilia Starfire Chapter three The Escape
Lavilia was just as exhausted as she knew Lavinia was. She had to go on, but she barely had the strength to. The only thing that kept her on the road was the thought of Lavinia dying in the middle of Faran, Moron Naür.
She sat on Milyo with her arms around Lavinia. It was dark in the whole of Faran. Lavilia drove to the second road that leaded to the rest of Second earth. The road to Lomilien. It was risky, but safer than the first road. The first road was guarded way better than the second, which was pretty logical because it was easier to travel the first road than the second. Milyo showed that he had really learned from his time with B. He climbed the mountains like he hadn’t done anything before in his whole life. Lavilia didn’t take the road itself because there were many goblins taking it
After a long time climbing up and stumbling down the road became less irregular. Lavilia knew Lomilien was getting near, but Lavinia couldn’t go any further. Lavilia jumped from Milyo and Helped Lavinia getting off. She let Lavinia lay down in a place covered with rocks, not visible for others to see. Lavinia breathed almost unnoticeable, she was getting weaker by the second. Lavilia didn’t have any medicines with her. She couldn’t help Lavinia and that made her feel helpless, which wasn’t surprising because she was helpless.
During the day Lavinia’s condition decreased even further. Lavilia was scared. Somewhere in her heart she knew Lavinia wasn’t going to survive this, but she didn’t want to know nor accept it. She loved Lavinia way to much to let her go like this.
Goblins were walking up and down the road so Lavilia couldn’t go any further, not as long it was light. She could be seen and she couldn’t risk that. Lavinia groaned, she dreamt of Boron. He had found out that they had escaped. Goblins and Dark elves were searching Faran for them. He wanted revenge, this wasn’t something he could let happen. He was pretty mad. Lavinia could feel his anger. Lavilia laid her cold hand on Lavinia’s hot forehead. She felt the bad dreams and banished them from Lavinia’s head. Minutes came and one, finally it became dark again.
Lavilia helped Lavinia get on Milyo and climbed up herself after that. Milyo went down, he knew the way, he hadn’t been far away when Lavilia whistled. He had been in Lomilien all the time. The people of Grivor knew him, they say him many times. Some had tried to catch him, but they didn’t succeed. Milyo was just too fast for them. Lavilia closed her eyes, she was hoping to get Lavinia to Narolas or Durkrisiel on time.
Maybe she could be saved, Lavilia rushed Milyo to run faster. Suddenly the path was full of armed people. Grivor didn’t trust people coming from Faran. Milyo stopped, although Lavilia tried to make him walk again. One of the armed persons came closer to the unicorn. “Well my dear friend Unicorn, did someone finally manage to catch you?” He asked. “No he belonged to me all along, and his name isn’t dear friend unicorn, his name is Milyo” Lavilia answered in the language of Grivor.
“He has been walking here freely for as long as I can remember” The man said. “Tell me something I don’t know” Lavilia answered sarcastically “Can we please pass, my sister is very badly hurt and she needs some medical attention” She asked.
“No you can’t” the man answered. “No one is leaving Lomilien without my fathers permission, especially people from Faran aren’t” “Please, she won’t survive” Lavilia begged. “Show me your face” the man ordered. Lavilia put off her hood, she knew she wasn’t looking pretty good. Blood was all over her face mixed with mud and other kinds of dirt and her hair was not equally cut. Her hair was also dirty.
The man looked astonished “What happened? How did you get here? Where do you come from?” He asked. “We have been kept in the Dungeons of Moron Naür, we got here on Milyo, we originally come from Maranithor” Lavilia answered.
“I can imagine your situation, though I have to ask for permission to let you through” The man said “There are some people who know how to deal with wounds, come on” He left, Lavilia followed him.
They were brought in a room. The people with medical experience couldn’t do anything against Lavinia’s wounds. Whips from Moron Naür were different than usual. Lavinia was also wounded too badly. Lavilia tried all she could, but she didn’t have the right herbs to make a difference. Still they didn’t want to let her go. Lavilia was allowed to walk around but she was kept in sight the whole time.
Lavilia stayed with her sister all along. She sang songs for her Lavinia had sung for her when she fell out of a tree that she had climbed into, or something like that. She talked to Lavinia and she held Lavinia’s hand, hoping Lavinia could be saved. Every moment Lavinia’s strength was decreasing.

I like the way that the chapter leaves us with a sort of cliffhanger ending - what is going to happen next...will Lavinia die?...will they be able to get out of town?...etc. You're spinning an interesting tale. Rian Sanderse

It's fantastic! Your writing's getting better and better. I love the bit near the begining, it was so funny, where it said: She couldn’t help Lavinia and that made her feel helpless, which wasn’t surprising because she was helpless. hee hee! But I guess it's sad really.
I'm terrified Lavinia will die! Please tell me she won't! I'll cry...
I don't have any critisism to offer this time, as far as I can see it's perfect. Must - read - on - can't - stop - to - comment - Rian Sanderse
replies: "Hey Juliet, You know, I am sorry, I really am. I couldn't stop the story as it was in my head, the story took over my pen. Lavinia had to die, the story wanted it to happen, if it would have been me she would have survived. Love Rian"

Uh oh, this can't end well. Poor Lavinia, and Lavilia of course, becuase I get the feeling she'll be the one left behind. The emotions are wonderful, well done Rian! Rian Sanderse
