Lavilia Starfire ; Chapter 13 Demni's stones
"That would be me" Lavilia answered "Didn't know I was famous" "Sso you were stuck in Moron Naur?" Demni mumbled in full amazement. "I rather don't want to talk about it" Lavilia answered. "Ow right, I get it" Demni said. "Take some rest, you will need it" "Okay" Lavilia nodded and closed her eyes again..
When she woke up again the room was empty. Lavilia stood up and left the room. She looked around the hall where she was. The ceiling was amazingly high, the walls solid. Lavilia was impressed by the huge place, she walked around, her head ached but she didn't pay attention to that. Dwarves walked by, they didn't even look at Lavilia, or at least, most of them.
Some dwarves looked up when Lavilia walked by. Lavilia smiled, she looked for Demni, she wanted to get out of here. She asked a dwarf, but he didn't speak common language. He understood the name Demni though, and brought Lavilia to her.
Demni smiled when Lavilia came in. "You have recovered fast" She said. "I have been damaged much more before this little accident, it doesn't hurt at all." Lavilia answered.
"I see your scarves, they tell a story of their own" Demni mentioned "Yeah, nothing I can do makes them invisible" Lavilia sighed.
"I want to give you something then" Demni smiled mysteriously. She walked to the back of her cave. Blue precious stones were in her hands when she came back. "Wow, they are beautiful" Lavilia said. "Here take them" Demni said sticking her hands out to Lavilia "I can't accept that" Lavilia stumbled.
"If you take them, they will be used for what they are made for. Something that will never happen if I keep them here. The bad creatures will have to slaughter all the dwarves before they can reach me. If they reach me, I am lost, and these stones won't help me. This is the true, although I might wish it wouldn't be this way. Please take them" Demni said.
"They are way too beautiful to give away lightly, you should think of this very carefully. I don't want to accept something this precious easily" Lavilia stammered.
"You owe me something, because I saved your life. I don't ask you to take them with you, I demand you take them." Demni said.
"You leave me no choice do you?" Lavilia asked. "No I don't" Demni answered. "Then I don't have another choice but to accept them" Lavilia sighed.
Demni walked round Lavilia. She put the stones, that were made into silver bandages around Lavilia's neck, waist and head.
The bands felt cold on Lavilia's skin. They calmed her down. "What are these stones doing to me?" Lavilia asked Demni a bit frightened. "These are healing stones made by my ancestors, the power of the never aging elves is lying in them. Now look in the mirror" Demni smiled. "Sure" Lavilia said walking over to the mirror. With a shivering hand she touched the precious stone on her forehead. "They are amazing Demni, I don't know what to say" She touched the stone around her neck "They are just beautiful, thank you so much" Lavilia smiled.
"They look like they are made for you" Demni answered. "I will be honoured if you wear them." "I will never put them off" Lavilia said still being stunned.
"Are you ready to go to your own world" Demni asked. "I guess so, the war is over, evil is destroyed. Is there anything left to be scared of?" Lavilia answered. "No, not really, I guess. Your friends will be happy to see you again" Demni said.
"Am I allowed to call you my friend?" Lavilia asked. "It will be my pleasure to have a friend like you Lavilia" Demni answered shaking Lavilia's hand.
Demni walked Lavilia to the outside of the caves. There they said goodbye. "Come back one day and learn our language. I know you like to learn languages, you speak many already." Demni said. "I will" Lavilia answered and waved at the dwarves. In the time she was there they started to learn her Lady Den.
The dwarves split up into two groups, one stayed with Demni, the other one left. Lady Den became a myth to them. They never forgot about her, they told their children she would save them when they were in trouble.
Lavilia went deep into Triviaran. She became also a myth in the rest of Second Earth. She lived her days in silent, in peace and loneliness. With only some friends to visit her, and only friends to visit.
This is where this story ends, Lavilia didn't die. She had more adventures, though she wanted a silent life, travelling was in her blood. She still lives in the depths of Triviaran, and if you are in need, she might come to help you.
| Date | Name | Comment | | | 8 Apr 2004 | Kristoffer C. G. Johansson | Loading...This is an interesting efding. A little confusing though. Rian Sanderse replies: "Just tell me what's confusing Kristoffer, I will tell you what it should be.Love Rian" | |
| 13 Apr 2004 | James Lunn | Loading...I carn't help but feel the ending was a little rushed but maybe its because the adventure has come to an end. Great story all round keept me gripped untill the end. Hope you're working on somehting new Rian Sanderse replies: "Haven't you seen Vienna yet James? My brand new story! There will also be some short stories about Maeyava and Noelle (who has nothing to do with any adventures of the rest) I hope you have fun.Love Rian" | |
| 19 Oct 2004 | Norma Peters | Loading...By the end of the story, Lavilia has become quite the admirable heroine. You certainly have a good opening for a sequel, if you wished to go in that direction. Rian Sanderse replies: "Well, it is becoming a sequel indeed, but the sequel is not just about her, it's about her whole family. Lavilia is not perfect, and when you write to much about her you easily make her too perfect to be true. It makes your character unbelievable. So I stopped writing about her and started writing about her daughter. Sheis also cool. Love Rian" | |
| 24 Nov 2004 | Sophie 'Photosoph' Matthews | Loading...Yay! That was such a cool ending! I've enjoyed reading the Lavilia Starfire story, and think you've written it very well from start to finish. Rian Sanderse replies: "Well thank you! That is very nice. I am glad you liked it, since it is my first finished story. Love Rian" | |
| 3 May 2006 | Naomi | Loading...I love your Lavillia stories but please can i edit them? There are a couple spelling mistakes or grammatical errors but instead of listing them i would really like it if you would let me edit it. I'm a native speaker so it wouldn't be any trouble, even though as a non-native speaker you are doing extremely well... i wish i was as good at my German hehe. I wouldn't change the story or anything like that - it's way too good to change i really like the ending of your story. It's like stories you are told when you're a kid about the lovely heroine and her noble steed who defeat the bad guys and help everyone and then comes everyone's fave phrase: you never know...she might help you too. Very heart warming i think i mean hehe. Sorry for rambling | |
