Tag As FavoriteComment		Somehow out of its season, I know :-) I think I started this picture shortly after Samhain 2006, and finally found the will to finish it, scan it and finish it again now. Oh yeah, that's me.

Nothing more to say than this is inspired by the time of Samhain - the day when winter and darkness come to the land and the barrier between this world and the realm of death (and other realms) is said to be the weakest. Next step in the dance is made, seasons change, and the dance continues...

Media: pencil, coloured pencils, adjusting in Corel Photo-paint.

Ah, I almost forgot: Those are not my characters, those are my deities. Even though convinced atheists might not see the difference :P :-)

Very lovely, the shapes and colours are very soft. The trees with their beautiful branches are probably my favourite part. Also, the colouring is amazingly even on the sky.

:-) Veronika 'Lawenta' Prokesova replies: "Thank you. I must admit that the softness of colour is sometimes due to the adjustments in CPP. I can only defend myself with the fact that the scanner I used back then tended to ruin my pictures 2
