	Yay! A new non-commission piece at last! I'm really excited about this one, because I love the way he's coming out. Color work is in progress, but I couldn't wait that long to share him. I think this is the best inking job I've done so far as well. Lark is clearly a survivor here with his broken wing and dagger, cracked shield-stone and ruined clothing...

30 Nov 2003	AlpineBob	Loading... Courage amid defeat, is how I would describe this. The lines in his eyes make him appear to be blind, and all the rings on his feathers feel like shackles. The broken sword and wing are further evidence of defeat, yet he grimly stands his ground. This has a very sad feel to me; assuming that was your intent I say, "Well done."
