Tag As FavoriteComment		This is my part of an art trade I did for another artist over at Deviant Art. It came out better than I had expected but it still got some flaws. The composition is a little off, too... Anyway, practice makes perfect! (Or so they say..) :D

Oh! I love this...*wishes passionately had a modern version of photoshop* The DAPPLES!! I bet they took a long time, huh? I can never draw dapples on horses..and I do love his expression..."I'm not gonna squish anything when I land, am I?"

1 Linda Kristoffersson replies: "Glad you like it! 1 Actually... the dapples where one of the things that took the shortest time to do (the different brushes in Photoshop helps me out a lot *smile*). I never really thought about his expression, but he *does* kinda look like he wants to be sure nothing gets squished under him 1"

I love this picture! The anatomy is great. The only problem is I almost couldnt find his front leg. You need to bring it out more.

third comment. I somewhat agree with Annonymous, the left foreleg looks a bit strange, and just the way the neck is angled just doesn't look comfortable. Generally when horses rear, they either throw their heads up to look impressive, or tuck their chins nearer to their chest to protect their neck in a fight. other then that, perfect picture, i like how you made it clear that the hooves were in two pieces rather then one big toe.
