| 26 Mar 2003 | Laura Foster | Loading...Oooh! Gorgeous! And he has a beard! (so many people miss that out...). He looks very regal. Maybe the ears are a little bit too far back? But other than than stunning! ^^ Linda Kristoffersson replies: "Thanks! Yeah, when you point out the thing about his ears, they do look to be a bit far back.. I noticed his chin to be a little too small also, maybe that's why the placement of the ears seems a little weird.. Well, I'll have to think about that.. Thanks again! " | |
| 26 Mar 2003 | Danielle 'Aranil' Hanifin | Loading...The creepy thing is... is that I have a unicorn that looks almost exactly like this one (without the beard, and shading) only it's in ink and it's facing the other way. I also coloured in the background. This creeps me out because I have never known you ever since I drew that picture! Looks awesome! Want more horsie pictures!!! Linda Kristoffersson replies: "Oh yeah, it's your 'Flight to Fantasy' pic, right? Yes, I can definately see some similarities.. Creepy... But interesting! Love your use of color! Thanks for your comment! " | |
| 26 Mar 2003 | Paula dudzik | Loading...its me once more [i know i know uve got enough of me *Lol*] but i have to say this - i think this is the best one couse it HAS a background... Linda Kristoffersson replies: "No worries! I like getting comments, doesn't matter if it's from the same person! I know I need to practice backgrounds (and people, and.. well, everything *smile*).. I guess I'm so concentrated on making the horse look somewhat ok, that I just forget (or ignore) about the rest of the pic.. I *will* try to spend some time on the background too next time! By the way, I've checked out your gallery and it's just.. awsome!! " | |
| 26 Mar 2003 | Paula dudzik | Loading...I really would love if u pressed the pencil harder....But its nice anyway - but dont u think its somehow unfinish? The background should be darker...The same about uni... Linda Kristoffersson replies: "Thanks for all your comments! Constructive criticism is always a good thing. Many of my pics looks better in 'real life', I guess the scanner kills some of it.. (One of the drawbacks using pencil) The original pic *is* darker than this.. But I guess it's just my style drawing rather thin lines.. " | |
| 26 Mar 2003 | Cecilie Lie | Loading...Hey neighbour! This is a really good piece(but you propably know that allredy)! I also love horses, and I began to draw them as a six-year-old... You have a very beatyful style, and I would be very happy if you came and visited my page... Hilsen Cecilie fra Norge Linda Kristoffersson replies: "Well hello there! Thanks for crossing the border to come visit me. You have a very beautiful style yourself, and I love your unis! Thanks for your nice words, I appreciate them." | |
| 23 Nov 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...So graceful! Reminds me of an arab... Most arabs are kinda stupid tho... This one seems to have intelligence. I luv the presence this one gives off! | |
| 25 Nov 2003 | Claire G. Griffin | Loading...Must comment on previous comment: Arabs are NOT stupid! They are smarter than a lot of horses actually. Anyway, I agree with you both that winged horses are better and that this turned out well. | |
| 10 Apr 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!!!??????????? Arabian horses are smarter than you are judging by your ignorant comment!!!!!!!!!! I owned an Arabian (she died a few years ago. still miss her.) and she was smarter than most people i met!!!!! In fact, it is proven scientifically that arabian horses ARE the smartest horses. Arabian horse lover ^-^ You need to do some research before making stupid comments like that. The picture does resemble an arabian/andalusian. | |
| 23 Jul 2005 | Steph | Loading...Quite literally, all i can say about this pic is that if it had a more dished profile to the head, it would look just like an Arabian. Again, another gorgeous picture. | |
| 5 Mar 2007 | Morga n | Loading...I love the pic, but I disagree with "anonymous"...honestly I don't care if arabians are so called the 'smartest horses'by "scientific discovery", don't get me wrong, I like the arabian breed, but I do get tired of everyone constantly saying how they are the "best" or "perfect" breed of all the horses. I mean, look how intelligent Lipizanners, andalusians, and lusitanos are, they can learn high school dressage more easily than some other breeds can. And Seabiscuit, a thoroughbred, was amazingly clever. So, yeah..arabians are certainly gorgeous and good for many aspects of horseback sports, but don't go saying every other breed is just dumb... | |
