Tag As FavoriteComment		Upon reading a short story my sister wrote (mayhaps I ought convince her to join Wyvern's Library) I was inspired to illustrate it. The opening scene is of the Chyld, weakened and alone who stumbles upon the closed gates of a small city. The guard's heart goes out to the Chyld and allows him in.

This is a really good drawing! Its only a gate but it has so much detail and the shadowing is AWESOME dude..!! Keep up the good work kid!

I think this is quite original but a GATE?! maybe you should of drawn the castle aswell...

:-) Leah J. Bowen replies: "The story line this drawing was made for described a city surrounded by a wall. This drawing is to show the entrance to a city, walls high enough to hide all that is behind."

Its just a gate, oh well its still a tight gate. I would kick it down with my shoe, wha ha ha. That ain't keeping any giants out =)

Good shadowing and stuff also, better then mine. Do a castle sometime. We all love castles.

Nice shadowing but, it doesn't give of a musical euphony(a good or pleasant sound) pretty cool though 10
