"The Lady Guinevere - Self Portrait" by Leah J. Bowen

	Using a photograph of myself and a gelding I owned, I traced the main shapes using the pen tool in FreeHand 8.0 and went on to color in the shapes. I then created other shapes which were filled with various lenses available in the software to create some of the shadowing effects. The idea behind this drawing is the Lady Guinevere out falconing, who stopped for a moment in time...

Bowen replies: "On the contrary, I feel that everything surround arthurian legend would fall into the fantasy realm. Without the Knights of the Round Table and the stories that surround them, a vast inspiration for imagination would be lost to all."
