SciFi and Fantasy Art Kel´Zhad by Jukka Rasmus

Probably my best artwork ever. Started with ball as his head but then moved onward and voila! this is what came. His name is Kel'Zhad, and is/was the best swordsman ever lived or... well still lives. He is undead of that reason. His sole purpose in living was to become the greatest swordsman ever. He sought for one who could defeat him in sword combat. He never found one and died but his soul was still restless and so he rose from his grave and lives again to find one who can surpass him. The reason why I made katana for him because I love samurais, and I tought that I would add little samurai spirit into this picture also. Hopefully you enjoy this picture.

4 Nov 2004	Nicholas William Kole	Loading... Looks like i found another Joe Mad fan in the woods! I could recognize the style in your work way before reading you bio...this is the best, really cool. The armor is especially nice, it has a Michael Turner-esque quality to it as well...the shoulders seem very 'Battle Chasers' and the chest plate is totally Fathom or Soulfire. The only thig I'd suggest is to strengthen the contour lines...detailed pieces in this style tend to get a little 'muddy' and it's hard to see the pose of the character (which is great in this) or the more important details of the pic (the sword). Cool stuff! keep it up, stop by my gallery and say 'hi!'
14 Jul 2005	Elijah Marquez	Loading... i gotta agree with the joe mad. comment. your style REALLY reflects that influence. gotta say thats a good thing mad was the best in the business in my opinion. (now the video game industry is very lucky to have him) wow though, i gotta say im impressed by your art and your page is bookmarked. heh heh.
