SciFi and Fantasy Art The dark elf by Hanna Lehmusto

A character of my friend's, and I don´t really know what to say about him.. But I'll try at least. His name is Quen'zhah, and nowadays he is a dark elf (as in loyal to the darker side.) He has been banished from his home town, lost his wife in a fire and so on... So his life by far hasn't really been something to envy, and because he got involved with my character, quite an irritating little elf girl, it still isn't if you ask me. But Quen was happy when I last heard of him..

When I first saw the title of this image, I thought, "Oh, wonderful, Hanna has drawn a portrait of Eol or Maeglin perhaps." I was wrong on the subject, but no matter: there's something intriguing still about this portrait that other people have touched on. Fine job. One of your best here, in my humble opinion. Fare thee well and keep drawing!

Hanna Lehmusto replies: "Yeap, I also had Eöl in mind when drawing this, I thought they would look quite alike, despite of the fact that Quen has not always been "a bad guy" and that one might be able to see that on his face too... But now I can be proud to say that I'm actually working on a pic of Eöl!"
