SciFi and Fantasy Art Túrin and Níniel by Hanna Lehmusto

One of those pictures which is not totally based on the text of the Silmarillion but an image that I had in mind when thinking of that poor couple. It seemed to me that they had much love for each other, but anyway there was a certain "darkness" present all the time... If anyone understands what I'm trying to say. And yes, their clothes are more than a little inspired by viking clothing..

Completed on august 2006, colour pencils and watercolour. Not totally happy with the pic, but that's what one gets for not painting for half a year or so...
