'Uinen, the Lady of the Seas, whose hair lies spread through all waters under sky. All creatures she loves that live on the salt streams, and all weeds that grow there; to her mariners cry , for she can lay calm upon the waves, restraining the wildness of Ossë. The Númenóreans lived long in her protection, and held her in reverence equal to the Valar.' (The Silmarillion) Watercolor.

This is the piece that immediatly caught my eye in your gallary. I love it. Nice hues of blue and like the fact that you dont seem to be affraid of showing the pencil lines for the detailing - I think it shows confidence in your style

Wow, this is the coolest thing i've seen all week. You have style and are not afraid to try new things.

Great picture of Uinen, the best I've seen so far! Your imaginations are wonderful, and you've got a great talent to bring them on paper... I never could do such a picture, even if i had it in my head...

Very nice picture! Uinen doesn't get all the attention she should, does she? Poor thing.

I like the hair... The colors are beautiful, it makes me see blue all around me...

This is so beautiful, Uinen is my favorite Maiar. I think she's a Maiar? Havent read the Silmarillian lately. I drew a little one of her myself but this is so gorgeous. It takes so long to realize where she is! I love it!!!!

Very expressive, I don't think I've seen a better rendition of a water-spirit of any kind. You can tell she is in the water and it is part of her...I didn't even see the face at first, actually. Well done!

This piece is very well done. You can tell even without the description that she is 'one' with the water. It's great how you don't use much detail, but we can still understand the picture. It's a good thing, trust me! This one was actually the first one that caught my eye. Splendid job.
