The name is pronounced leh-LEH-thuh. As far as I can find out, I'm the only Le'letha out there. My birth name is quite common, so online I prefer to go by the name I invented for myself.
Short rundown: feminine noun, omnivorous bookworm, lifelong Trekkie, and fanwriter. Lesbian, but uninvolved. Likely to stay that way.
I have little or no talent for creating visual art, but wandering around Elfwood appreciating it has become one of my favorite things to do!
Reading: I've been reading since I was three years old, and now it's my entire life. I read very quickly and remember most, if not all, of what I read. This makes studying for tests very easy! I actually do very little studying, which gives me more time to chew through whatever library's closest. I babysit and have a summer job to pay for my at-home library.
Sci-fi and Fantasy Background: Fell in love with Star Trek at five...snuck into my mom's room after I was supposed to be in bed and watched an episode while hiding in the corner. Got caught, but not into trouble! I suppose I have to give credit to The Hobbit, which I read in first grade, for my love of fantasy.
Actually, the short version is that I just prefer 'there', wherever 'there' may be, to 'here' most of the time.
Star Trek: I should probably mention that I'm completely and totally obsessed. I stole my mom's Star Trek Encyclopedia years ago and read it for fun. My trivia knowledge is ridiculous. It's kind of funny...I get lots of weird looks from fans who've been watching it since the 60's and still know less than I do!
Fanfiction: I read and write fanfiction on fanfiction dot net, also as Le'letha. This gets a lot of effort put into it. I write for various Star Trek series and a handful of anime/mangas. The 'Homepage' link should connect to my profile there. Come check me out some time--I'm actually a pretty good writer!
