"Traveling companions (original)" by Leo Annakin Belkin

The original drawing. I did not sketch this before inking, this was done 100% beginning to end with an ink pen. w00t! Anyways, the one on the lest is Gale and the other one is Kain (KA-EEN) and these are the early days of their uneasy friendship. They live in a world where the only natural resource is slaves. Those two used to be house slaves, Gale being the nanny and Kain working in the kitchen. Then the master got Gale knocked up and threatened to kill both Gale and the baby. Gale, who was extrordianrily smart but not very motivated and previously content with life, hatched a promising plan to escape. Kain, who was the master's favorite punching bag, saw his opportunity and followed Gale. Although the escape was a success they are now stuck with each other. Looks like they are regretting ever crossing passes in the first place.

If the stuff on the rock means anything, that's the first time I've ever heard about it. Seriously, I don't know if it's a spell or just the name of the place or what.
