| 21 May 2002 | L. Mitchell | OVERLY-GIANT eyes doesn't mean it's anime. And, you must admit, those eyes are insanely large, even from anime standards. The eyes you did, however, are coloured really well and have a lot of detail.
The detail you put into your work suggests that you know how to draw, which is a good thing. I'd suggest trying something else other than anime-style stuff. You show real promise here, with your colouring and all, but too many people like anime to the point where it's all they draw. I suggest that you either try to personalize your anime style, or just find a style altogether.
If it sounds bad, it's actually a compliment. It's good stuff, but I think you should try to find your own stuff.

| 9 May 2004 | Doz | Yeah, no offence, although the art is good, its not anime. Its kinda your own style that has been taken from anime. Blimey, the eyes are hugr, but I guess that makes themkinda cute. | |

Anime is very stylised and only few people can actually grasp the technique, and I'm afraid you are not quite there yet. I may seem coldhearted but I'm not, well...I am, but not when it comes to GOOD art so you can shut your screaming howlers if you have a problem. You need to revise the anatomy, Rachel, and I wish you luck, I agree with what Leanna says all the way.
