A facial study of Marit Wagenholm, my andergastian roleplaying character. She is a soldier, tends to avoid thinking and often has a very bad temper (so it´s really fun to play her- I have absolutely no idea why she looks that relaxed in this pic ;)). This pic started as a doodle in my sketchbook where I tried out how realistic I can draw with a pencil- usually I use pencils only for wild abstract sketches as a base for cg or ink drawings. I never gonna paint mail again from that close point of view.

1 Jul 2005	Niamh	Loading... What? No comments? Oh well once I've finished my first comment jig does first comment jig I'd have to say that this is really good. I can imagine chain mail would be really annoying to draw close up, but you've done a really good job. I like the way her nose is broken.
6 Sep 2006	Sophie Hollmann	Loading... Very cool! Freckles rule^^. Oh, and soldiers rule. I played a female mercenary from Nostria once. I think they would have had a good fight^^. Chain mail is annoying, right, but the bit you did there looks really good. And on drawing realistically: it looks very real and like the drawing of a beloved character.
6 Sep 2006	JonesTM	Loading... This picture is great. You even can start reading her mind. She seems to think or remember something funny, or at least something that now brings her to the brick of a smile. And if her nose wouldn't be broken she would look really beautiful. But now she is a soldier, she doesn't care about something like a broken nose or a scar across the chest. Staying alive is what keeps her mind busy.
