13 Nov 2000	Anon.	Loading... Nice picture, I like - I think what he's doing is a lunge, not a thrust.
18 Dec 2000	Wolfram	Loading... In foil/epee fencing, a lunge is the term used for the extension of the body into the strike of the blade. All lunges are preceded by thrusts. In the French style that I learned, the tip of the blade is usually pointed at a slight downward angle, but the foot positioning is correct in this picture. Keep it up, I like to see this style of work.
28 May 2001	Jess	Loading... picky fencers. I'm one too, epee of course, and you're right this is a lunge! It looks great otherwise! ^_^ keep up the great work! I especially love the expression on the face.
