Mersi Again This was my Linoleum cut for a printmaking class, one of the better final prints. The moon was actually done in Silver ink, but it looks gray in the scan. I have a tendency to make my art projects more difficult then they have to be this took a bit longer than I originally anticipated. The last color (sky and stripes) was supposed to be dark blue but it blended with the green under and looks like a really dark green... oh well From my Printmaking class Spring 2004. Linoleum Cut, oil based inks

Cool. How many different colors were printed? Did you create a separate lino for each color?

:-) Alexandra J. Smith replies: "In the end it was 5 colors. I used the same lino for all of them, carving out more for each color. Yellow-orange, then orange, then green, then Navy blue and silver (at the same time since it was just the moon)"
