I guess it depends what you’re going for here? Creation? or perhaps something.. darker? The River Styx, the Beginning, 5th day? Either way, I have been looking through your portfolio here and you are incredible. In my opinion you should be doing paid commission work for book covers or whatever fantasy artists mostly do. Maybe the problem is color for you? I haven’t seen too many color pictures. I’m excited to see you try that, hopefully you will while I’m still a fan of this site. Oh, and your profile picture is gorgeous. ;-)

The subject leaves me with the same impression that I get when I met this old man in Barcelona who fixed watches. The man was amazingly talented, and to watch him working with all those little gears and switches was incredible.

The man in this piece reminds me of that, the look of concentration and the way his hands are positioned makes me think that he would hate to intrude, but is more making very minute adjustments, small repairs that most of us can’t even see, but once they are completed...

Well everything runs smoothly... Like a well maintained watch.
