Tag As FavoriteComment		When I first drew this I thought: what an unusual idea - however after a quick search thru the woods I've since realise otherwise :/ There's a ton of seahorses in here! hhhmmm, so, here's another one to join the mob - well the mane and fets are supposed to be seaweed, and the scales refused to look anything like I actually intended. But, despite the faults, I like the result here. Pencil drawing with color added in PhotoPaint.

Ah theres that funny name again hippocampus...I get mental pictures of a camp hippo whenever people call these...Things hippocampi..Lovely pic by the way! I like the colours

Ooo! A hippocampus! I love the colors, this is so pretty! Have you ever been to Washington DC, like where all the capital buildings are? Outside one of the buildings (can't recall which one) there's these huge statues of (I presume) King Triton and some mermaids and hippocampii and it's also a fountain. It's really pretty.

i just found this after searching for seahorses, and was taken back by how beautiful this is. I love the style it's like old-style mythological illustrations. And the colours and bubbles are so delicate and beautiful, they really create an atmosphere of magic. I must go have a look at the rest of your gallery!

I know this - long ago I created a wondeg unicorn, and then here in Elfwood I realised people probably had that idea even longer ago...
This is very beautiful, I like how you made the tail red and the horse-part blueish!
