Elizabeth Fitzgerald High fantasy is definitely Elizabeth's calling - while you wait for her next promised novel, 'Without the Shirt', go read the first. What her characters do with spoons ... I dunno.	Annah Hutchings (Amarys) Absolutely stunning realism.	Jon Midget Shining proof that you don't need twenty pages of adjectives to describe something powerful and you don't need to save the world to be fascinating.
Jessica Steinke Her sidhe pictures are amazing - definitely a must-see for Tad Williams fans.	Raymond E Gaustadnes Amazing, dramatic pictures ... hard to look away!	Jenny Dolfen An absolutely magnificent artist with some of Elfwood's best Tolkien-inspired pictures.	Chris Dien Real high-fantasy art the way your mum used to make. Or perhaps not. Elven Scribe I love vaguely art nouveau sort of things, and this is gorgeous.	Flame from Soil Unlike all the buxom maids in mail bikinis, she looks like she means business ;)	Castle on the Crystal Mountain I love the style of this ... the angle must have been a headache ...	Faun girl under Umbrells Simple, lovely idea ... nice pace change from valiant knights
Ghost of a Cured Hard to look away from the eyes - amazing.	Fairywriter Because fairies should do more writing and less lazing around on toadstools.	Fay in Peacock Blue I love the blue ...	darkness I don't know who this unnerving fellow is, but his horse is mighty.
Dragonbath Another dragon in an urban setting, and in a wonderful line illustration style like you find in older books - I love this one.	3 ravens Very lovely and delicate, and somehow a bit ominous too ...	The Winged Warrior Feels like flying :D	the nornqueen Really makes me want to read the books again ... eerie and beautiful.
Long dead...still waiting Melancholy and beautifully done (without references!). I get a story itch every time I look at it.	Fearless I was never much of a Laurana fan, but this is brilliant.	Strange Eons Cold and ominous, as you'd expect of a Lovecraft-derived picture.	Dragon in Courtyard About the only safe way you're likely to peek through an archway at a dragon.
Hamsterstein ... how could I not love this? Or anyone, for that matter? XD	Feanoreans--family picture A clever idea and brilliantly executed. Love Feanor's expression ...	Glorfindel and Ecthelion I don't usually favourite more than one picture in a gallery, but I had to ... Ecthelion and Glorfindel in -glorious- armour ...	Storm Rider A different sort of princess. I like the style and colours of this one.
Reincarnation Mysterious and a bit melancholy.	Vintage advertising Inspired idea ;)	Maeglin I'm glad I found this again - this gallery was one of my favourite Tolkien haunts years ago and this picture my favourite of the lot. ;) Love the mediaeval sort of style.	Spell Lovely idea and gorgeous costume!
Elros Beautifully done sketch of Elros - and a lot of other lovely Tolkien works in this gallery, too.	Gimli in a Boat A dwarf, for a change! I love this - his expression is so real and warm.	Arwen!! Hear, hear! ;)	Got Lembas? Very dry ;) and very beautifully drawn ...
Nazgûl entertainment I have so much love for this sketch. And so little maturity. <3	Boundaries Gorgeous landscape.	Theah - Close-up Face Detail Absolutely exquisite piece of digital art (all in Photoshop!)	Raistlin and Caramon The twins were always my favourite Dragonlance characters, and this is a particularly fantastic rendering of them.
Renly Baratheon I swear I'll stop favouriting portraits of knights ... eventually. This amazing specimen is by Chris Dien as well.	Dark Goddess Lovely, eerie picture - puts me a bit in mind of Egyptian gods.	Lady of Rohan Visual proof of why Miranda Otto was just all wrong. ;)	At Night I love the sky and how dreamlike the figures are in this picture.
Wise Ol' Goat The life in this fellow's face is fantastic.	Hitched.... Romanesque centaurs! This gentleman really, really likes centaurs ... and so will you after you browse his gallery. Very clever ideas.	In Winter's wake I -love- the trees and the snow ...	The story Sweet and simple - her pose is great.
Voronwe in Nan-tathren Calm and lovely - the other works in the gallery are beautifully painted too.	Machine Dancer Something a bit unusual and different, but eye-catching.	In the heart of the forest White on black - very striking and very, very well drawn.	River Watcher The woodblock-printy look of this is great - I could see it in a book of mythology or suchlike.
The Revenant Somehow very sinister without any overtly creepy elements in the picture - I think it's her expression that does it.

Diary of Evil This always makes me grin.	The Royal Frog For anyone who liked Roald Dahl as a kid.	Torment Of Voices Proof that if you have the talent, monologues -work-. And how brr	Descending Vectors Unique and wonderful.
Awakening- Prologue Free high fantasy novel. Elves without shirts. Click now.	Dark Words This one encapsulates one of the most complex characters in the Woods, and I love him ever so slightly.	Sight and Song: Prologue I'm about halfway through this story and keep having to restart it, but the characters are brilliant and I refuse to give up.	The Day the Caravan Passed By Simple, wonderful and not a cliche in sight.
Genesis Vault: at Center City One of the first stories that finally started to cure me of my anti-sci-fi(ish) bias - original and -so- immersive.	The Lesson Gives me the creepy-eepies, but in a good way ;)	Tears of the Holly This is how folktales should be done.	Yes, Sir Very thoughtful and involving - I had to keep reading to find out what happened to the 'hero' ...
