The world was so clean

You were the King

I was the Queen

 

The world was not wicked

The world was full wise

I was your wings

You were my eyes

 

You were the sun

I was the moon

I was your midnight

You were my noon

 

You were the dreamer

I was the night

I was the darkness

You were the light

 

The world was so perfect

The world was so pure

But death was the illness

And there was no cure

 

You were a mortal

And I still lived on

I closed my eyes

Then you were gone

So cute, so sad. Mortal and immortal love is always doomed from the start. Tragic but sweet. Bittersweet I guess would be the best word. I love the emotion.

NOOOOOOO!!! *Tears!* Its beautiful! I love the rythme of this piece. it adds to the enchanting effect then it stirkes a nerve in that last stanza. Very good!

Very interesting, the words are good and all, but what really drew me in was the rythm, very, very good.
