| 29 Jul 2004 | Dave Bekker | Loading...What she said.. ~points to Joslyn~ One typo I caught perhaps. "Mortal never wander there" --> "Mortals never wander there" I think it is supposed to be plural. I think. Duly note it is after one in the morning, and I'm tired. So my brain is not functioning like it should. I didn't catch anything else, meter and flow were great. Better poetry than I could ever write in me life. Great stuff! Lyndsay E. Gilbert aka Liadan replies: "Thank you for your comment! It's very encouraging. The Line is supposed to be a warning to a mortal (ie the person who is reading the poem- since we are all (most times ) Mortal. I guess it should be Mortal, never wander there.^_^ Thank you again." | |
| 13 Sep 2004 | Helen 'Fallyn Raine' Falls | Loading...lol. This poem rocks! I can imagine all these little chibib faeries dancing to it. hee hee Lyndsay E. Gilbert aka Liadan replies: "Chibib eh? lol. I can see it...whatever chibibs are L xo" | |
| 18 Oct 2004 | Tina M. Oellerich | Loading...I love this! It really captures the spirit of faery well and the last two lines of the last stanza, ' For either time will stand there still or else it will be gone' is an excellent way to describe the inviting dangers of changing realms. it reminds me of when Morgana gets lost in faery land in Mists of Avalon. i'm sure the faeries themselves are pleased! Lyndsay E. Gilbert aka Liadan replies: "I so love!!! the Mists of Avalon...its one of my favourite books ever. I'm so pleased that this reminded you of it...I love faeries too so I was so glad that they were in the book, proper faeries too in my opinion. Thank you for the comment ^-^" | |
