Robb replies: "Green eyed people are a lot rarer than one would think. Blue eyes are more striking than green eyes which is why people like them more, but Lorannon certainly won't be having that problem. "

Not much I can say that I haven't said already, but since when has that ever stopped me, eh? ^_- I love this picture because it's just so incredibly close to that elusive picture in my head. Still won't forget that little gasp-feeling when I first looked at the coloured version. You have a gift, m'dear. Awww, thanks!*becomes teary eyed* Beautiful use of colours (especially the green of his eye - that's the *exact* 'emerald green', by the way)! Beautiful use of the lighting with the sword! Beautifully done expression! All in all, Becky, just beautiful ... thankee so much again. ^o^ Rebecca A. Robb replies: "I'm partial to the coloring of the skin tone on his face myself. It's so darn hard to get a good skin tone since there are so many colors in the skin."

I still love that glove of his, it's seriously nifty, as is the light from his sword. It's the look on his face too, mostly contemplatative, but with a faint hint of amusement - you just know he's dreaming up battering Schiri or something involving kittens. *grins* I've always wanted to know how to draw gloves. Then one day I discovered it in the most unexpected place, and of course I had to use this new found knowledge somewhere! The look on his face was supposed to be a bit more serious, then I thought "This is Lorannon! He can't be that completely serious! Lovely stuff! Rebecca A. Robb replies: "Thanks! Maybe one day I'll get to draw one of your lot!"

You really have captured Lorannon in all his quirkiness as I imagined him. Perhaps a little younger than my imagination. But then elves are to look younger than they really are so I think my imagination is in err and yours spot on. *shrugs* Joelle and Pantha had an issue with the length of his hair when it was opposed to their own views of him. They had always pictured it longer. I think it's just interesting to see how my own views differ from those of other people. BTW does he own a watch? Just wondering on the examining of his wrist. However, it does strengthen his penetrating gaze from his eye, just I'd like to know what has grabbed his attention... I don't know, but I'm pretty sure he has a muse named Shirley...or Shannon...her name starts with an 'S'. Anyway, he's probably just staring at his sword or in to space or something. I thought the angle of his arm was a little off and that it gave the worng impression. Great picture! Rebecca A. Robb replies: "Thanks! I'm glad you stopped to comment!"

I'm still catching up and I have a few galleries more to plow through. ^-^;; Yes, well, Lorannon tends to be a bit conceited, and that's all you really need to know about him.;D That said, it's a wonderful image. I really like the lighting of the piece. ^-^ Actually, I like all of the piece, but the lightning is just amazing. Rebecca A. Robb replies: "My muse is currently telling what a horrible job I did on his hair, but it's good to know that it isn't the only opinion!
Thanks!" | |
