| 20 May 2004 | Rachel 'Chell' Beaconsfield | Hey! Welcome to the woods. I’m a little surprised I’ve snagged the first gallery comment >.> Nice start to your page. I think the “Goddess of Night” is my favourite so far. It has an intriguing twist, rather like dream imagery. Love to see more colour work Laima Saulyte replies: "thank you. It's nice to see first comment in my galery. I added some pictures recently, few in color. Right now I'm drawing some pictures in "Goddes of thi night" style. Thanks for the comment!" | |
| 27 Jan 2005 | Tommie Leijs | Hello there... why do you have only one comment!? That's absurd!!! You need more!!! More comments! Yes! ... *reads his own comment again* ... I sound kinda nuts huh?! Well... I am, but maybe I shouldn't be to forward with that. Too late now... and yes I'm still talking to myself... *hehe* Buhbye Laima Saulyte replies: "Thanks for dropping by" | |
| 31 Jan 2005 | Mayuree Martin | Your art is very pretty, I can see that you are very imaginative and talented. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see more soon! Oh, and you have a very lovely name, too. Laima Saulyte replies: "oh, thank you!!! And about my name. I carry the name of pagan Lithuanian goddess of luck and destiny. I'm workng on a pic to portrey her, but I never seem to be satisfied with my work." | |
| 22 May 2005 | Ilze A. Pukite | Hello! I noticed your name in a comment and I had to come ask- are you Latvian? And then I saw your last response to a comment- but you're slightly off. Laime in Latvian is 'luck' however Laima _IS_ in fact a Latvian goddess, of (of course) luck, and fortune, destiny and chance and all that good stuff. I don't know if Laima is a Lithuanian goddess too, but you just can't forget the Latvians!! Are you Lithuanian then? Or is it just the name? On to the art- you have a great gallery here, keep up drawing I'd love to see your work after a few years! *big thumbs up* Laima Saulyte replies: "I'm indeed Lithuanian and not Latvian. And I know Latvians also have a goddess named Laima, and in Lithuanian language Laime is luck and happiness. Latvian and Lithuanian languages come from the same language group, so there are some words that are the same and many words that are just a little bit different. The same goes for mythlogy.thanks for dropping by " | |
