SciFi and Fantasy Art Dwarven Warriors by Lieuwe Boer

A picture from a while back. These three dwarves were part of an adventuring party, and quite an effective one too. They fought as commanders in a gigantic dwarven army, defeating a huge gathering of orc clans in a massive battle, and as a party they slew several dragons. However, in their later days they were tormented by internal conflict, even in the midst of battle. Obviously this led to hazardous situations, and soon enough the inevitable happended. The group was spotted trying to infiltrate a bandit outpost, and in the skirmish that followed the barbarian (middle) was slain. Some said he was cowardly abandoned by his comrades, but according to the fighter (left) it was merely a case of refusing to take part in a tactical withdrawal. Legend has it that the fallen barbarian later reïncarnated as an ogre, forever settling his score with the fighter about who the stronger of the two was.
