	Drawn october 2002 - edited may 2003 This is an older drawing that I've edited a couple of times. The last modifications were done after I got a lot of comments about the feet being at a strange angle (see comments below). Apart from changing the position of the feet I did several small adjustments and added an ever so atmospheric background.

This picture is very nice but she looks to regal to be a peasant she should be more drab looking in my own thought but the art part is very good...She is so real life looking .. thats y i think she should be atone to the lower spot in life ..... Lieuwe Boer replies: "Hey, thanks a lot. She may not be very realistic as a peasant girl, because when I was drawing her, I had no specific idea of what kind of girl she was gonna be. When the drawing was finished she reminded me of some sort of farmer girl, hence the title."
31 Dec 2003	Aestas	Loading... I love your shading! very good job, but just a few things i think you should change. Her hand on her hip looks a bit small for her body. Her left foot looks like its suppose to be the right foot (her big toe is draw outside instead of the inside). Her breasts look to low, or maybe its because peasants didnt have bras? hee hee i dunno, other than that its great! keep up the good work! Lieuwe Boer replies: "Yep, you're right about the toe..."

Because you made the ever so flat dutch background. looks like somewhere in Frisian area, like your name oh, i totally forgot to tell you that i like the picture, but i guess everybody already told you, no real need.

22 Feb 2007	Carolyn	Loading... I don't know what picture all these critical people are looking at, I LOVE her! Peasants can be regal, just not for very long... heheh Life will beat it out of her eventually. The shading, her hair, the wrinkles and folds in her dress... everything makes her look like she could come to life and her hair start blowing in the breeze! I haven't looked at all of your gallery yet, but I will. I'll be keeping my eye on you too... heheh I'm not an artist by any stretch, I do however know something Good when I see it. Please keep them coming!
